Tree removals at various parks and facilities starting on Dec. 8
December 05 2025AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Parks and Recreation will remove and prune trees at several parks and facilities starting on Monday, Dec. 8, as part of on going maintenance.
Work will include:
- Lake Wilmore Park - removal of one tree.
- Boykin Community Center - removal of one tree.
- Duck Samford Park - removal of eight trees.
- Frank Brown Recreation Center- removal of one tree.
All locations will remain open to the public during the scheduled work. However, some parking will be closed off at the Frank Brown Recreation Center. Visitors are advised to exercise caution, remain alert to posted signage and avoid active work areas.
Work is scheduled to begin on Dec. 8, but the duration may be extended due to weather conditions or unforeseen delays.
